About

My name is Akira Kubota. I have been working in safety-critical manufacturing environments, where strict procedures, reliability, and teamwork are essential to maintain continuous operations. Through this experience, I developed a strong operational mindset and shift work readiness, including nights and weekends.

I started learning IT in 2022, initially exploring programming and web technologies. I was particularly interested in understanding how systems work at a deeper level, including low-level concepts.

At the same time, I wanted to build a practical career path into the IT industry, so I focused on infrastructure, networking, and Linux, and committed to the CCNA. In 2026, I passed the CCNA and began applying that knowledge practically by deploying my own website on AWS, working with DNS, CloudFront, and Linux systems.

Based on this experience, I became interested in data center operations, because it’s where physical infrastructure, networking, and system reliability all come together. That’s why I’m now focused on becoming a data center technician as a strong foundation to grow further in IT.
